Light Diffusion grade
The SD POLYCA™ LD Series is a grade that retains the properties of polycarbonate resin while providing light diffusion capabilities. It allows light to be evenly distributed while maintaining the brightness of light sources such as LEDs. Available in multiple light diffusion levels, it also offers various functional enhancements such as mold release, weather resistance, and sliding properties. This makes it suitable for a wide range of product applications, including daylighting building materials, lighting covers, and illuminated signs, for both indoor and outdoor use.
The SD POLYCA™ TRD Series offers excellent optical performance (light diffusion and low chromaticity) while improving resistance to humid heat aging. It is ideal for use in backlight unit (BLU) diffusion plates in automotive LCD displays, where long-term reliability is required.
