The Japan Society of Plastic Processing (JSPP) is committed to exploring all processes from plastic materials to molding conditions and the best possible products, aiming to open new possibilities for plastics through scientific and technological analysis. University professors and molding engineers sit at the same table to exchange information and discuss the future.

The global chemical industry has started a voluntary initiative where each company handling chemicals takes responsibility for environmental, safety, and health measures throughout all stages from development to disposal of chemicals. This initiative is known as "Responsible Care (RC)."
