Biomass grade
Our biomass grade SD POLYCA “BM Series” incorporates upcycled biomass waste materials as part of its raw ingredients. The biomass waste used includes eggshells and seashells discarded by food processing factories, coffee grounds from cafes and beverage factories, and wood powder generated during the manufacturing of wooden products such as furniture and baseball bats. These materials would normally be treated and disposed of as waste.
Through our compounding technology, we have successfully combined various biomass waste materials with polycarbonate resin. Customers can select biomass based on its story or appearance, while also contributing to the reduction of petroleum-based resin usage and CO2 emissions.
