Recycle grade
Our recycled grade, SD POLYCA “RE Series,” utilizes polycarbonate resin (PCR-PC) that has been material-recycled from products collected from the market as part of its raw materials. The PCR-PC used is carefully selected based on factors such as color tone, physical properties, long-term reliability, and supply stability, ensuring that there are no concerns regarding the typical issues associated with recycled materials, such as “quality” and “supply.”
In addition to the standard grades, we offer grades with added functionalities such as diffusion, wavelength selection, sliding properties, flame retardancy, and anti-static properties, where the proportion of PCR-PC can be selected. By incorporating PCR-PC, the RE Series also contributes to reducing CO2 emissions generated during production and incineration processes.
