The glass transition temperature (Tg) refers to the boundary temperature at which the material transitions from a rubbery state to a solid (glassy) state. By lowering the Tg of polycarbonate resin and aligning it more closely with other materials, these grades help to reduce whitening or cracking when forming multilayer composite products with other materials through processes like vacuum forming or pressure forming.
